Hassan Bakiriddin is founder of the Sumptuous Sampling Event & East Flatbush Restaurant Week. Both events were created out of Mr. Bakiriddin's desire to help the small business restaurant owners in East Flatbush increase their overall revenues. Mr. Bakiriddin has always had a commitment to the upliftment of his community and a willingness to help improve the conditions of the residents of East Flatbush and it's small business community.
Marguerite Vigliante is the Coordinator for Contemporary Art, Photography and Works on Paper at the Brooklyn Museum. Before that, she worked at the Guggenheim Museum and various other cultural institutions in NYC. She received a BFA from Hunter College in sculpture and printmaking. She is also a drummer and percussionist, who has performed both in the states and abroad, and has tried her hand at acting off Broadway with the Neurotic Theatrical Company. She is actively involved in the East Flatbush/Flatbush community where she has lived all of her life and is currently serving on three Community Board 17 committees.

Hazel Martinez
Hazel Martinez has resided in East Flatbush for more than forty –five years and has been a member of the Sumptuous Sampler event planning committee for the past four years. She is currently the president of the Four In One Block Association; a member of several community board committees such as Sanitation, Commerce and Land Use and a board member of Elite Learners Inc. In recent years she has served as a member of Community Board 17, co-chair of the District 45 Participatory Budgeting Project and the Wyckoff Farmhouse advisory committee.
She retired from the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General where she was employed as a Hospital Nursing Services Consultant. She possesses an MSW from the Hunter College School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science from the Boston University School of Nursing.
She continues to be an active member of the East Flatbush community working to ensure that community residents have a voice.

Jorge Tait has resided in East Flatbush for more than twenty years and has been an active member of the Sumptuous Sampling Event Planning Committee for the past four years. He currently serves as chairman of the Community Board #17 Public Safety committee and a member of several community board committees such as Sanitation, Commerce and Land Use. Mr. Tait is also a vetted member of the Civilian Observation Patrol of East Flatbush. Mr. Tait continues to be an active member of the East Flatbush community even though he has been retired from the Insurance industry for many years.
